Cancellation Policy

blog details

This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which clients may cancel services provided by Infusiox. By engaging Infusiox for any service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the cancellation terms stated below, together with any applicable proposal, quotation, statement of work, contract, invoice, or service agreement.

Infusiox reserves the right to apply specific cancellation terms where different terms have been agreed in writing with the client.

1. Service Cancellation

Clients may request cancellation of services at any time, unless otherwise specified in an executed contract, proposal, statement of work, maintenance agreement, invoice, or other written arrangement with Infusiox.

Cancellation requests must be submitted to Infusiox in writing through an appropriate communication channel, preferably by email to info@infusiox.com. A cancellation will not be considered effective until it has been acknowledged or confirmed by Infusiox, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable agreement.

2. Cancellation of Ongoing Services

For recurring or ongoing services such as website maintenance, SEO, PPC management, social media management, digital marketing, online advertising, content services, consulting retainers, or similar monthly services, cancellation will generally become effective at the end of the current billing cycle unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients remain responsible for all fees and payment obligations applicable to the current billing cycle up to the effective cancellation date, even if the client chooses to discontinue using or requesting the services before the end of that billing period.

Where a minimum commitment period, notice period, or other cancellation requirement has been agreed in writing, that specific requirement will apply.

3. Cancellation of Projects

For one-time projects such as website development, design, SEO setup, advertising setup, technical implementation, or other project-based services, the client may request cancellation before completion, subject to the applicable agreement and this Cancellation Policy.

Once work has commenced, cancellation does not automatically release the client from payment obligations. The client remains responsible for amounts relating to work already performed, resources allocated, project preparation, personnel time, deliverables completed, consultations, third-party expenses, and other costs incurred by Infusiox.

4. Work Performed Prior to Cancellation

Clients remain responsible for payment of all work completed, partially completed, approved, scheduled, prepared, or otherwise committed before the effective cancellation date.

This may include planning, research, strategy, design, development, content creation, SEO activities, campaign setup, advertising preparation, account setup, technical implementation, consultations, project management, meetings, revisions, or other activities performed in connection with the engagement.

Cancellation of a service does not cancel or waive payment obligations that have already accrued.

5. Third-Party Costs

Any third-party expenses incurred, committed, purchased, activated, or paid on behalf of the client before cancellation remain the responsibility of the client.

  • Website hosting and infrastructure costs
  • Domains and domain-related services
  • Software, plugins, themes, tools, and licenses
  • Advertising and media spend
  • Third-party subscriptions and platforms
  • Stock images, fonts, templates, or other licensed assets
  • Payment gateway or transaction-related charges
  • Other third-party services purchased or committed specifically for the client

Such amounts may remain payable even where the client subsequently cancels the relevant service or project.

6. Cancellation Due to Client Delay or Non-Cooperation

If a project or service is delayed or becomes inactive because the client fails to provide required information, content, approvals, access, feedback, payment, or other necessary cooperation, Infusiox may suspend the project or consider the engagement inactive until the required information or cooperation is received.

Such delays will not automatically create a right to cancel without payment for work already performed or costs already incurred.

Where an extended delay materially affects the project, Infusiox may require a revised timeline, revised quotation, additional charges, or a new project schedule before resuming work.

7. Cancellation by Infusiox

Infusiox may suspend or terminate a service or project where the client fails to make required payments, materially breaches the applicable agreement, provides unlawful or infringing materials, engages in abusive or inappropriate conduct, or otherwise creates a material risk to Infusiox, its personnel, systems, service providers, or third parties.

Where services are suspended or terminated due to the client's breach, overdue payment, or other client-related circumstances, the client remains responsible for amounts already due, work performed, resources allocated, and expenses incurred up to the effective termination date.

8. Refunds Following Cancellation

Any refund arising from a cancellation request will be determined strictly in accordance with the Infusiox Refund Policy.

In general, if work has already commenced, payments made for the relevant services will be considered non-refundable, except where Infusiox expressly agrees otherwise or where a refund is required by applicable law.

If work has not commenced, a refund request may be considered after deducting any applicable administrative, transaction, planning, onboarding, consultation, or other costs already incurred by Infusiox.

9. Effect of Cancellation

Upon the effective cancellation date, Infusiox may discontinue further work and access to services, subject to any applicable contractual obligations.

Cancellation does not affect any rights, obligations, payment liabilities, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property provisions, dispute provisions, or other terms that are intended to survive termination or cancellation.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are requested to contact Infusiox directly before initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute with a bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or financial institution.

Infusiox should be given a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve any genuine cancellation, billing, or service-related concern before a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated.

Infusiox reserves the right to contest any chargeback or payment reversal that it believes is inconsistent with the applicable agreement, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, or services already provided.

11. Changes to This Cancellation Policy

Infusiox may update or modify this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, business practices, payment arrangements, legal requirements, or operational procedures.

The updated version will be published on this page with the revised effective or last updated date.
